Songs From Thee Static Lodge is a companion album to Some Strange Alchemy. While recording the latter, many more pieces of music were recorded than were needed. This album collects many of those pieces. For some of them, Ryan manipulated Keisha's vocal tracks from Some Strange Alchemy; time-stretching, pitch-shifting, sometimes reversing and layering them to fit these pieces of music. Don't consider this an album of leftovers. It is very much an important part of the story of Some Strange Alchemy: what was not, what almost was, and what could have been.
